Rules and Regulations:
- Open to junior exhibitors under 21 years old, all of whom must be a Macon County resident.
- Steer must be owned and fed by exhibitors at least 150 days before show date. All steers must be shown by owner.
- Each exhibitor is limited to two entries per breed.
- All steers must grade good, choice or prime and fed grain for at least 150 days. All steers will be mouthed when unloaded to determine eligibility and show class identification. Steers can have two permanent teeth, all other teeth must be baby teeth in place.
- The entries (over all breed) will be divided into weight groups.
- Steers must be halter broken and dehorned.
- All steers will be ear-tagged and weighted between the ours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2008 by a Fair Board member.
- Exhibitors will feed and care for their animals during the fair until animals are turned over to their buyer or taken back home Sunday, September 21, 2008.
- No re-weigh allowed.
